BPCL wanted to develop an app that can help car travellers in discovering destinations, get ready-made & highly customizable itineraries and get assistance when on road. From finding toilet to finding a place to eat and stay to navigating the places to getting emergency assistance, the app was intended to provide an each and every detail that car travellers may need on-the-go. Roadside Assistance (RSA) was the key objective of the app that was focused to help car travellers get professionals’ help on the site to troubleshoot the issues like flat tyre, no fuel, and dead battery, etc. ‘Happy Roads’ app was a part of BPCL’s series of new ventures.FuGenX Solutions
After understanding the client’s requirement to the deep, we refined the idea with brainstorming sessions. During the wireframing, we intuitively defined each and every feature that contributes to having the best travel experience. The design had to be simple and attractive and there shouldn’t have been any room for mix-up on choosing between the features. Our UI/UX designers did it perfectly. The integration of RSA service by AXA was a key challenge during the development, but our expert programmers crafted a functional code to perfectly integrate it into the app.
Once the app was made error-free through multiple rigorous tests, including security test, usability test, and compatibility test, the app was successfully launched at the respective app stores.
